The GOP has declared war on net neutrality by proposing an amendment to block future FCC regulations of the internet. Far be it from anyone to have equal access to internet content. This move by the GOP is an affront to those of you reading this blog right now.The GOP has attempted a "crossover" mixed with a good old Iverson "stutter step" to divert from the real issue...their undying support and love of BIG BUSINESS over the protection of individual consumers.
Kay Baily Hutchinson of Texas cites that the GOP is against net neutrality because it places an undue burden on cell phone carriers/servers that would be bogged down if they couldn't restrict certain data on their networks...right. What happened to the open market and less government restriction?
